Farewell For Now

It's been a while now since i posted about getting into a caregiver course and now its nearly finish. At first i thought i am not going to survive it not because of the course itself but because of the people i am going to mingle. I thought i would have hard time adjusting but i was wrong because in just a few days i became comfortable with my new meet friends and now  we have built a strong bond with each other.

Now that some of them are nearly finish I'm sure we will miss each others company. It will never be the same as we are all together. They're not going to wear their scrubs suit anymore and they will surely miss seeing our teacher's in their medical nursing scrubs. I am surely going to miss the noise, the laughter, the gimiks as well as those irritating moments. Some of us well be left behind to finish some modules  and its not going to be long before we said goodbye too on our uniform and scrubs. I hope that's gonna be soon, so we can be together again on the graduation.

New Course

After couple of months since i finished my computer technical course, I've decided to enrolled myself to a caregiving course. Well just an additional skill i might be able to use one day in the future but i never thought that it was that too hard for me because it is much like a nursing not just only for their  healthcare uniform or hospital nurse uniform but also some of the job they are actually doing. It is a quite shock to me as i am scared of needles or injections but no turning back as i've already start it. My classmates and my doctor teacher on his doctor uniform assure me that i can do it. Well much of an encouragement but anyway its been a week now and still adjusting myself. Struggling on difficult medical terms  but hopefully well learn to love it. Well cross fingers!

A Very Warm Week For Me

As i may recall, this week was a very productive week for me. I am learning a lot from my hands on training and i am having fun. However i am having hard time with the warm weather...phew!. It was indeed very warm. I could hardly breath when travelling to the city. I am sure i am not the only one having this kind of feeling.

Anyhow it's Friday today so i went for walk at the Park after the training. It was already 5 in the afternoon, so its not that hot as it was earlier but there are no cold breeze though.  I walk around and tried to take pictures of the place....oh well not really the place but i'm looking for a certain subject that may look better on my point and shoot camera as i am trying to explore it.

I haven't got much shot as it was starting to get dark and also there is not much subject to take, aside from the crowded people that are fuzzing around the exhibit. Not sure what exhibit it is but i guess its about Earth Day based on the writings i saw from their logo canopy and logo mats. So instead of joining the crowd i went to a nearby mall just to cool myself as it really warm and humid outside. I feel relieve the moment i got inside the mall as it really makes me feel cool and relax. Just what i wanted.

Anyway what was there was also an exhibit of summer getaway places which of course includes Samal Island. In fact, most of the representatives there are from famous and new beach resorts in Samal including the beach resort where we held our wedding. I can easily recognize it even from a far distance. I did observed the colors of their trade show flooring and trade show carpet matches the color of their resort logo which is of course very important as that where they were recognized. There are new beach resorts as well that participated in the trade show. Well of course it was a good way for them to spread the news that they exist which i think is helpful for their business to grow. I must say that all of them are beautiful beaches. Some of them i've already explore and some  new are very inviting especially in this warm weather. It will be very nice to go swimming and explore.

Anyway, it was past 6 already and i feel hungry, so i decided to go home. I got home past 7 and feel dizzy...phew what a traffic jam! Very warm and hungry. But now at this very moment i feel fine and just feel the need to write. Soon afterwards i'll be going to sleep. Till next time.

Wedding Video

I finally finished my video editing and its already uploaded in our facebook page. Unfortunately i cannot give the link here for privacy. Anyway i felt good about it. My husband said its superb for a first timer. He said, it was done very good. I could use it as a good portfolio for a future job on  that field. Well i really thought it was done very poor but i'm happy to hear its not. Anyway after a lot of trial and error, i finally finished it. Learning by my own was very difficult. Researching and trying those free softwares online was really a risk. I almost give up but i'm glad i didn't. It was really tiring because i spent a lot of time in front of the computer but it was a fun experience after all.

Alright gotta go now. Its late and i was supposed to sleep early because its my first day on training center tomorrow. I'm very excited to finally  study again at last on the field i am really interested in. Goodnight everyone!

New Template Again

Alright, i've been exploring online again and have change my template. I choose a free one from a website i found, not too much design just a very simple one. I like it because its 3 column but i know one day in the future i will change again that's if i'm still gonna use this blog. Not much time here that's why but looking forward to learn to make my own website and start all over again. Cross fingers! hehehe....

Anyway i am looking for a hidden code that was remain on my settings which came from my previous template. I couldn't find it as it still remain and merge on my new template...if you notice it " just use your imagination". I've already check my html settings but couldn't really find something hidden there. It's really annoying to see it on my page and its really tiring to change again. I really like to get rid of it because it doesn't look good. Well if anyone have same experience or if anyone knows how to get rid of it or anyone is expert there....a help or advice is welcome.

Days

Days has gone by so very fast and now its nearly the middle of the year. I'll be turning 31 this year and i feel like getting old. Just starting my new life being married and apart from my husband. The distance is really difficult but we are trying our best to handle it. But- well sometimes the longingness really makes me feel sad. It seems like the world is trying to test our love for each other, our hopes and our dreams. It's not that simple as people think but hopefully soon we'll be together and i can't wait for that moment to come.

Research.....

Its midnight here and yet im still wide awake. I've been doin research the whole day as to how i can finish my experimental video making. I have few ideas already but im lack of software to use. I've been trying to find free one online like this photoshop thing to edit some photos but couldn't find one. Most of it you need to purchase. Oh well, of course who would have give it for free . Its a business for God sake...what i am thinking?
Anyway i'm sure there's a lot to know about this. Just learning little by little. Still have to figure out how to fix my dvd rom as well as it won't play a dvd disc- our wedding video on dvd. Its really mind buggling for someone who is not really a computer technician. Anyhow its a great challenge for me to be able to learn this stuff. In fact, i've always find it very interesting to learn.
Well its kinda late now. I'm just really dropping by to write a short update and to vent at least. I am excited for next week as i'm going to a training center for a computer technical course. Alright till then, have a good sleep everyone.

Catching up

Its been over 4 months now since my last post. Don't know what brings me here at this very moment to feel the need to write but maybe i just feel bored. Anyway i know i had a lot of pending thoughts i should have written here since the last post i made but it seems like i suddenly lost my interest, my mood or whatever reason is that for not writing. Well the last time after my last post i was very pre occupied by my wedding preparations. I've been busy and stress out sorting out details. I was just able to breath and relax after the wedding itself. Oh well not really as my husband and i, had to sort out legal matters after the wedding day still. We both had no chance to spend time for ourselves to relax and enjoy our moment but we do understand that there are always glitches no matter how you make things as perfect as you can. Well nevertheless, we are both happy now that we surpass the trials we had and now we are proudly married. Our big day was indeed the happiest day of our life. We were able to achieved our dream wedding at the wonderful beach of samal island on Valentines day. Isn't that romantic?...well it is.... for both of us. Can't help it but to smile whenever i reminisced.....hehehe as if it was long ago....it was just last month and i still feel wonderful. Anyway i think i had at least put my lost thoughts this time and hoping some more will follow.

Gold Investment

There's no doubt that gold is the best investment a person can have. It a stable and profitable thing to invest as no one can mess with its value and it's the only asset that is not someone else's liability. Gold owners will agree that it is a good insurance they can depend on as it is the most durable wealth-preserving asset on the planet.
Now i am not really that familiar about investing gold coins or gold bullion coins as well as how and where to puchase it but there was this website called Gold Coins Gain that is very informative. It explains and gives you idea about gold coins or gold bullions. In fact i was amazed to read about how much the value now of gold bullion coins that was purchased many many years ago and i must say its really worth the investment. Now i know why most of the investors really invest on such thing.

Can you tell me?

I am hurt, my tears are falling and can't help it. .....Why is there people who sees only the things that is not good in you? Why can't they see the good things that you've did? Why is it hard to deal with a narrow minded person who only believe what they only like to believe? Why can't some people be happy where can you be happy and be supportive? Why is it hard to prove yourself when they don't know how to appreciate? and why is it so hard to be in between all of those? Can you tell me?

$20,000 Meal

Well, the President Macapagal Arroyo denies the $20,000 meal. It says that it is a black propaganda againts her but who really knows except those people who came along with the trip. God only knows what is she really doing with the money of people that she supposed to take care. If its really the President who paid for the alleged $20, 000 meal then she should be ashame of herself.

Many of her people needs help and yet she enjoy spending that big amount for just a meal. What a waste of money? She should think of those hungry people in her country. Those that have lost their houses due to the recent typhoons. Those that are grieving for the lost of their love ones because of the calamities. Those that people that she keep promising for improvement and those that are unemployed. That big amount can be a big help but instead it was wasted only for a very posh wine and dine.

What is she thinking? If its not her who paid the said meal in Le Cirque in New York and that it was only given by someone as a gift then she should have been practical, to think that it is a big amount to spend. She should instead used it on a productive way. Don't get me wrong but i think spending that amount of money for a meal is too much. As a leader, she should be responsible for her action. Even if its said to be a treat of Romualdez, still its not appropriate to dine for that cost whilst people here in Philippines is suffering from poverty. Most of us are trying to survive for a small amount of food and worst some are not eating. Struggling to survive each day while she is spending that big amount. Its not really appropriate. Anyway, whatever is the truth, its her conscience that will hunt her for life unless she don't have a conscience. Hmmmm... what do you think?

Fried Tilapia and Malunggay Egg Soup

Alright! I've been thinking earlier what should i prepare for dinner. I want something different. Something simple, easy to cook and cheap. Well i had to be thrifty, had no choice. So i went to a small market nearby to see what can i afford to buy. I've seen fish tilapia and its quite cheap so i buy 4 medium pieces. Now while walking i was thinking how would i cook it... should i fry it? or should i mix it with vegetables? Hmmmm well i have to consider my family too what they would like but i know if i ask they will ask me back. Anyway, i'm the one to cook so they have no choice either..hehehe.

So getting back i decided to make a soup as a side dish upon seeing the Malunggay plant nearby. I will make a healthy soup that i called myself Malunggay Egg Soup. I am going to save money from this since i will not be needing to buy the vegetables as i will only pick it from the street but of course i bought eggs. Aside from that i have picked some Camote leaves for me to make a salad. So that was it, i was able to make a dinner for my family for less than a 100 pesos. I had some fried tilapia fish, Malunggay Egg Soup and Camote leaves salad.

Humba Recipe

I have made this delicious recipe couple of months ago. Now i was scanning my camera and found the picture i took. Upon looking on it i can't help to feel tempted to make one but i'm trying to control myself because I am on a diet. I must say that this is a comfort food for most Filipino's and its truly tempting.

Ingredients:

· 1 lb. pork (you can used pork belly or pork hocks), cut into serving pieces
· 1 cup water
· 3 cloves garlic, crushed
. 2 pcs onion bulbs, cut into pieces
· 1/3 cup vinegar
· 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
· 1/4 cup soy sauce
· 1 bay leaf
· 1/4 tsp. pepper or 1 tsp. peppercorns
· 1 tsp. oil
. pieces of banana blossoms
· salt to taste
· 3 potatoes, peeled and quartered (optional)
· hard-boiled eggs (optional)

Procedure:

1. Combine all ingredients in a big pot and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for about an hour or until pork belly is tender. You may wish to adjust the taste according to your taste and liking.

2. You can add some potatoes or hard-boiled eggs whichever you prefer.

3.. Remove peppercorns or bay leaf (if used) just before serving. Serve hot.

Note:
You can also add black beans if you like and used pineapple juice or sprite to marinate before bring to a boil

My Old PC

It's been a while since my last post. I've been in and out to check once in a while but not really able to update. I have been stressed out for a lot of reason and was hindered from using my old desktop computer since i complained a lot about having a headache. For couple of months i managed to do that with the expense of losing a chance to work for some online opportunities.

Now perhaps the time i can slowly get back and do some catching up. I just hope this time i won't be having any problem with my old desktop. I knew i had to replace this and buy a new desktop computer but i still can't afford it right now. As for now i still have the patience to use this. It still work fine though even it sometimes go crazy like the last time my keyboard had stop functioning. I have tried some of the extra keyboards we have but unfortunately it didn't work so i had to buy new one. I was able to replace it with a better one. So far i never have problem with my keyboard except for my computer monitor that have change color which is very annoying since its affects my eye that cause me headache. I can't sometimes help to laugh with dismay whenever i encountered problem with my old desktop computer. I could simply choose to smash it like what my fiance did to his computer but i had to hold back since i have to consider the cost of buying a new one. Anyway i think my old PC was able to take a break as well when i was away. That was a good break i guess.

Taste of Home

I bought a very cheap and good cook book from a book bazaar last Saturday. It has a very rich recipe contents which make me interested. Aside from that it only cost 35 pesos which is very cheap. I was lucky to get it first since all books that time is very sellable for very cheap price. Actually i never intended to buy one since its not what i went there but since it was very cheap and i love its recipe content, i decided to buy it.
