$20,000 Meal
Many of her people needs help and yet she enjoy spending that big amount for just a meal. What a waste of money? She should think of those hungry people in her country. Those that have lost their houses due to the recent typhoons. Those that are grieving for the lost of their love ones because of the calamities. Those that people that she keep promising for improvement and those that are unemployed. That big amount can be a big help but instead it was wasted only for a very posh wine and dine.
What is she thinking? If its not her who paid the said meal in Le Cirque in New York and that it was only given by someone as a gift then she should have been practical, to think that it is a big amount to spend. She should instead used it on a productive way. Don't get me wrong but i think spending that amount of money for a meal is too much. As a leader, she should be responsible for her action. Even if its said to be a treat of Romualdez, still its not appropriate to dine for that cost whilst people here in Philippines is suffering from poverty. Most of us are trying to survive for a small amount of food and worst some are not eating. Struggling to survive each day while she is spending that big amount. Its not really appropriate. Anyway, whatever is the truth, its her conscience that will hunt her for life unless she don't have a conscience. Hmmmm... what do you think?

Fried Tilapia and Malunggay Egg Soup
Alright! I've been thinking earlier what should i prepare for dinner. I want something different. Something simple, easy to cook and cheap. Well i had to be thrifty, had no choice. So i went to a small market nearby to see what can i afford to buy. I've seen fish tilapia and its quite cheap so i buy 4 medium pieces. Now while walking i was thinking how would i cook it... should i fry it? or should i mix it with vegetables? Hmmmm well i have to consider my family too what they would like but i know if i ask they will ask me back. Anyway, i'm the one to cook so they have no choice either..hehehe.
So getting back i decided to make a soup as a side dish upon seeing the Malunggay plant nearby. I will make a healthy soup that i called myself Malunggay Egg Soup. I am going to save money from this since i will not be needing to buy the vegetables as i will only pick it from the street but of course i bought eggs. Aside from that i have picked some Camote leaves for me to make a salad. So that was it, i was able to make a dinner for my family for less than a 100 pesos. I had some fried tilapia fish, Malunggay Egg Soup and Camote leaves salad.

Humba Recipe
I have made this delicious recipe couple of months ago. Now i was scanning my camera and found the picture i took. Upon looking on it i can't help to feel tempted to make one but i'm trying to control myself because I am on a diet. I must say that this is a comfort food for most Filipino's and its truly tempting.
Ingredients:
· 1 lb. pork (you can used pork belly or pork hocks), cut into serving pieces
· 1 cup water
· 3 cloves garlic, crushed
. 2 pcs onion bulbs, cut into pieces
· 1/3 cup vinegar
· 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
· 1/4 cup soy sauce
· 1 bay leaf
· 1/4 tsp. pepper or 1 tsp. peppercorns
· 1 tsp. oil
. pieces of banana blossoms
· salt to taste
· 3 potatoes, peeled and quartered (optional)
· hard-boiled eggs (optional)
Procedure:
1. Combine all ingredients in a big pot and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for about an hour or until pork belly is tender. You may wish to adjust the taste according to your taste and liking.
2. You can add some potatoes or hard-boiled eggs whichever you prefer.
3.. Remove peppercorns or bay leaf (if used) just before serving. Serve hot.
Note:
You can also add black beans if you like and used pineapple juice or sprite to marinate before bring to a boil

My Old PC
Now perhaps the time i can slowly get back and do some catching up. I just hope this time i won't be having any problem with my old desktop. I knew i had to replace this and buy a new desktop computer but i still can't afford it right now. As for now i still have the patience to use this. It still work fine though even it sometimes go crazy like the last time my keyboard had stop functioning. I have tried some of the extra keyboards we have but unfortunately it didn't work so i had to buy new one. I was able to replace it with a better one. So far i never have problem with my keyboard except for my computer monitor that have change color which is very annoying since its affects my eye that cause me headache. I can't sometimes help to laugh with dismay whenever i encountered problem with my old desktop computer. I could simply choose to smash it like what my fiance did to his computer but i had to hold back since i have to consider the cost of buying a new one. Anyway i think my old PC was able to take a break as well when i was away. That was a good break i guess.
